Using the same method used to improve the graphics of original Xbox titles on base Xbox One hardware is also being used to enhance select Xbox 360 titles for the Xbox One X. Called the Heutchy Method, existing assets with no alterations to the code are used to draw a much cleaner and higher resolution image thanks to the additional power of the One X. And it looks pretty impressive, click through for a look at Halo 3 enhanced.

Yeah, pretty impressive results especially with the texture filtering and higher resolution. So far Assassin’s Creed, Fallout 3, Halo 3, and Oblivion are said to use the method. Here's hoping that in the case of Fallout and Oblivion that also means faster loading times.

So it does what my PC does to older games with AA, anisotropic filtering and rendering at 4K plus loading too fast to even see loading screens with my SSD, and they give it some name as if they're using magic?

Anisotropic filtering and 4k is part of it, but some also get an upgrade to 10bit colour and HDR lighting. The name is just the name of the lead engineer working on the project, Eric Heutchy, so its probably a little bit tongue in cheek if anything
