Yeah, it turns out that watching the continued success of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (or PUBG) is just about the second best thing to actually playing it. With the recent sales milestone, and first-person servers coming to Australia, PUBG has only hours ago hit a peak of 1,023,612 players as per SteamCharts.

Which makes Dota 2’s highest ever peak, and the current record, of 1,291,328 players well within reach.

And this is for a title still in Early Access. That came out in March! It's like watching the box office numbers climb for a movie that nobody expected to become the biggest of all time. Which, PUBG is well on its way to achieving in the concurrent player stakes for a multiplayer game.

Now, the question is. Is there anyone out there that hasn't played it yet?
