Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six ANZ Invitational saw the popular game make its esports debut in Australia, with Athletico Esports taking the crown in an intense final showdown with the number ranked team Corvidae. They take home the title of ANZ Champions 2017, and a very nice $5000 prize.

Here are some of the highlights.

The Rainbow Six Siege action doesn't stop there as the Top 8 teams from the ANZ Invitational will go head to head against teams from Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia in a live event to be held in Sydney on October 21-22. From there the global stage will be next with the Season 3 Finale to be held in Sau Paolo on November 17–19.
