Hearthstone Gets a Delightful Blizzard Animated Short

After the excellent Overwatch animated short revealed earlier today, Blizzard had another animated gem to show at Gamescom with a new Hearthstone animated short. Think Disney, musical, and plenty of family friendly Warcraft love and you get the idea. Actually, no. Watch it. It's delightful.

And really sells the fun and friendly spirit of Hearthstone, Blizzard's competitive card game set in the world of Warcraft.



Follow Ava, a newcomer who found herself lost and alone as she stumbles into a delightfully rowdy and wondrous place where everyone is welcome. The Tavern is home to a charming cast of characters assembled from every corner of Azeroth.


I think it's time for Blizzard to expand its animation division and give us a steady stream of animated shows and films for all of its properties. That would be awesome. So would getting this Hearthstone song out of my head.
