And it's the former home of both Junkrat and Roadhog! Somewhere deep in the Australian Outback? Check. A makeshift town created from scraps and ruins and rusted bits of metal? Check. A warm colour pallete that gives off a Mad Max by the way of Looney Tunes vibe? Check. An awesome place to for a new escort/payload map? Bloody oath mate.

Here's a quick tour of the awesome looking Junkertown.

And to go alongside the new map announcement is a new cinematic short starring Junkrat and Roadhog, where after being exiled from Junkertown are looking to sneak back in. And blow it up.

No word on when the new map will be released, but we have to assume that it'll be soon. The announcement comes as part of Blizzard's presence at Gamescom this week, where people at the show will be going hands-on with the new Australian-themed map throughout the week.
