Which means it's time to party like it's 1999! Assuming of course you put of playing the original a year because it came out in 1998. Anyway, the point is that the fantastic 4K widescreen remaster of Blizzard's classic sci-fi RTS, StarCraft, is now available! And best of all it includes both StarCraft and the StarCraft: Brood War expansion in addition to matchmaking, leader-boards, and player profiles.

It's hard to explain how influential StarCraft has been to the industry over the past few decades, not only in terms of it being a seminal strategy game but also as a pioneer in the world of esports competition.

Plus, it featured a pretty epic campaign that we'll gladly replay with snazzy new HD visuals. Mainly because it's been at least a decade since we last fired up the adventures of Jim Raynor, High Templar Tassadar, and Kerrigan.

StarCraft: Remastered is available now digitally for Windows and Mac PCs for $21.95 AUD. Head to www.starcraft.com for more info.
