After previously being exclusive to the PlayStation platform, popular music streaming service Spotify is now available on Xbox One. The Spotify app can be obtained from the Xbox Store, and thanks to the background capabilities of the console music can be streamed whilst you're playing. Or racing. Because this is the sort of news that makes you want to fire up Forza Horizon 3.

And we're always looking for a new excuse to drive around a virtual Australia. Another cool feature of Spotify coming to Xbox One is the ability to control playback via you smartphone using Spotify Connect.

Oh, and if you're looking for something to listen to Xbox's Major Nelson has curated his own gaming playlist. And it's not bad.

It's no Kbit - Future Yesterday though.
