Australia finds itself in Group C, facing teams from Sweden, Italy, and Portugal. The Sydney event will also feature Group D, which includes Finland, Japan, Spain and Vietnam. The tournament will feature a round-robin set of matches with the top two teams from each group advancing to the single-elimination playoff.

And Australia is well on its way to qualifying for the Overwatch World Cup at BlizzCon later this year, by defeating Italy in a convincing 4-0 one-sided affair.
