Which, in Open Beta form runs from July 21 through to July 23 on PS4 and Xbox One. Yeah, no beta for PC unfortunately. Those that pre-order on either PS4 or Xbox One will get early access on July 19 (for PS4 players) or July 20 (for Xbox One players). The Destiny 2 beta will include the opening mission from the game, a strike, and PvP modes to test out.

And as this isn't taking place a week before the September 6 release date for Destiny 2 on console, it's an actual large-scale beta test.

Players can expect to find the opening campaign mission (Homecoming), a playable Strike (The Inverted Spire), and PvP modes Countdown and Control.
