Coming from Saints Row developers Volition, we're quietly optimistic that its spiritual successor Agents of Mayhem is as much fun to play as the wacky later Saints games. With a bright, vibrant, cartoon vibe and a colourful cast of characters (three of which are being introduced today in a new trailer) this could be a lot of fun when it launches August 18 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

The only real problem we see is that instead of offering up a co-op campaign, Agents is a strictly single-player affair where you can swap instantaneously between three different Agents. In a Street Fighter versus X sort of way with characters being able to heal when swapped out. The mechanic sounds interesting, but with the great Saints Row 4 co-op here's hoping that it doesn't become a feature that we're going to miss this time around.
