Obisidan's critically acclaimed RPG, Pillars of Eternity, is headed to both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 29. Dubbed the Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition, the console version of the isometric role-player will also include the The White March Part I and II expansions.

Development on Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition is being handled by Paradox Arctic, and will feature a number of changes with the transition to console. Including, a revamped UI and controls specifically designed for big screen couch gaming.

For those that need a crash course in Pillars of Eternity, it's an RPG in the mold of classic computer games from the '90s like Baldur’s Gate, Icewind Dale, and Planescape: Torment. Where story is king, and deep RPG combat paves the way for both strategic planning and the building of a party of diverse characters.
