Currently ranked as the best Australian Overwatch team, Blank Esports has been selected by fans to represent Australia at next month's Overwatch World Cup Group Stage in Sydney. The team, which is currently in Taiwan battling it out to win the first ever Overwatch Pacific Championship, will be going up against Sweden, Italy, and Portugal in Group C.
The team will make-up will be as follows:
Ajay ‘Aetar’ Umasankar (DPS), Jason ‘ieatuup’ Ho (DPS/Flex), Jordan ‘Gunba’ Graham (Support), Marcus ‘Kiki’ Jacob (Tank), Ashley ‘Trill’ Powell (Tank/Flex) and Andrew ‘rqt’ Haws (Support).
And will be led by their Taiwanese coach Jason ‘SereNity’ Wang.
Tickets for the Overwatch World Cup Group Stage in Sydney are also now on sale at Ticketek, priced at $60 plus booking fee. We've also been told that the event will be home to a Blizzard pop up Gear Store selling Overwatch merchandise currently unavailable in Australia.
