Probably to coincide with the launch of the Xbox One X, Avatars are set to make a comeback with a new Avatar 2.0 system. One that naturally adds more detail, animation, and clothing options, including wheelchair-access. Apparently the revamp has been in the works for a few years now, and will probably appear on both Xbox One and Windows 10.

Check out the new look.



Apart from looking a lot better than the previous Avatars, here's hoping that they are then used in games. And possibly Microsoft's streaming platform -- Mixer.
