The sequel to the surprise hit Total War: WARHAMMER, in that it ended up becoming one the best Total War games we've ever played, has a release date. And it's coming sooner than we thought -- September 28 for PC. Alongside the announcement developer Creative Assembly debuted the first snippet of gameplay from Total War: WARHAMMER II.

And yeah, it certainly looks different. What with the dinosaurs, dragons, and other reptiles. It even has reptiles riding dragons.

With four new playable races, a new location in the Warhammer universe, and a very different campaign to the first game -- we'll definitely be keeping a close eye on this.
