After making its debut last year at E3, Santa Monica Studio's God of War made a return appearance this year with an impressive gameplay and story trailer. Plus, we got a release date. Or window, with the game expected to ship Early 2018. In terms of what we see, there's plenty of action among some truly stunning locations. Naturally.

Plus hints that Kratos' son might have some sort of telepathic connection to the beasties.

God of War is a PlayStation 4 exclusive.
