In that Star Wars Battlefront II is set to feature Emperor Palpatine's custom made droids that would be sent out to key figures in the event of his death. Which happen to feature his likeness -- hence the Palpatine footage in this leak. Because hey, nothing says seamless interaction with a humanoid robot than the melted face of the former Senator from Naboo.

Also in the clip are brief glimpses of a possible level set on board a Rebel ship, your droid companion, and the motion capture work done to bring the new campaign to life.
