A lot of games release a Game of the Year edition. Usually as a way to re-sell it with all post-release content and DLC, and not really as a way to highlight any awards. In the case of Overwatch, which won more Game of the Year awards than we can recount, it's Game of the Year edition is certainly warranted.

In terms of extras outside of 10 Loot Boxes and Tracer to play in Heroes of the Storm the Game of the Year edition is very much the Origin Edition from launch, as it comes with the same exclusive skins and goodies for other Blizzard games.

To mark the first year of Overwatch a special Overwatch Anniversary event is scheduled to commence on May 24 with a Free-Weekend from 27-30 May AEST. No word on what the event will have specifically, but in the lead up Blizzard has released the following video marking the occasion.
