Well, that and other games for Nintendo Switch and the 3DS/2DS. But, the big holiday title for the Switch looks to be Super Mario Odyssey. And with the game playable at the show, expect to see a more detailed look at the game during the Nintendo Spotlight that's scheduled to begin on Wednesday, June 14 at 2AM AEST.

Followed up by a longer play session during the Treehouse Live event that will begin right after the presentation. Like Zelda last year, expect to see a lot of Mario from Nintendo at E3.

Here's a replay of the first look at Super Mario Odyssey that we got earlier in the year.

Actually, wait. That's the wrong file. Here's the correct trailer.

With the good but not great Yooka-Laylee here's hoping Nintendo's next Super Mario 64-like platformer lives up to the glory days of the all but forgotten 3D platforming genre.
