Paradigm, from Perth-based Jacob Janerka has been on our radar for quite some time. As a one man band, and wearer of stylish turtle necks, Jacob has been single-handedly crafting one of the more interesting point-and-click adventure games we've seen in years. Starring a genetically mutated protagonist with a thick European-of-sorts accent, and a cast of colourful characters, plus some truly brilliant (and surreal) art, it's the sort of game that you need to see rather than hear about.

Cue, the release trailer.

Paradigm is a surreal adventure game set in the strange and post apocalyptic Eastern European country of Krusz. Play as the handsome mutant, Paradigm, who's past comes back to haunt him in the form of a genetically engineered sloth that vomits candy.

Paradigm was part of the indie showcase at PAX last year, where it earned quite the reputation as one of the must see indies of the event. The Paradigm Steam store page is now live too, so be sure to support this release if your a fan of the adventure game genre. The real point-and-click one that is, not the phony baloney Lara Uncharted adventure games of today.
