And we're a little over a week away from the launch of Mass Effect Andromeda, the next installment in one of the most talked about gaming franchises of the past decade. Yeah, there's a lot riding on this being good. Well, for those of us that consider the original Mass Effect trilogy as one of the better sci-fi experiences, regardless of medium, ever created. And nothing says impending launch of a highly anticipated game than an action-paced launch trailer.

Doubly so if its paired with music one might consider 'hip' and 'modern', like the fresh-faced Ryder siblings featured in the game.

If you're still not sold on the look of Mass Effect Andromeda then this trailer may not sway you one war or the other. Personally, there's enough here to get me both excited and a little worried about BioWare's latest sci-fi epic. Mostly excited though.
