Compared to the likes of Super Mario 64, which outside of its low-fi presentation has aged as gracefully as a fine wine, Crash kind of looks like a glorified endless runner. Now, it's no secret that the Crash Bandicoot series getting the full remake treatment is like a dream come true for many '90s kids -- but the end result may just tarnish a few rosy memories. It certainly looks good though.

As you can see, the few criticisms the game received back in the '90s feel a lot more pronounced now. Limited corridor gameplay, no exploration, simple platforming, and more.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be out on PlayStation 4 June 30.
