Strewth! Colour us cobbers surprised, because we weren't expecting to see us Aussie drongos making an appearance in Civilization VI anytime soon-erydoo. That's right, coming soon to the excellent Civilization VI, Australia! The land down under, beaches, beer, cork hats, and so forth. Okay, so it's easy to poke fun at Australia's isolation from the rest of the world, but this news is pretty damn cool considering how great a game Civilization VI is.
So then, who's going to lead us in the high staked game of world domination and diplomacy? Well that would be our 14th Prime Minister, John Curtin, who served from 1941 to 1945. He led us during World War II but sadly passed away whilst in office.
Information that we gleaned from the below video showcasing Australia's unique abilities in Civilization VI.
Naturally, the Australia faction benefits from coastal cities, especially those with pretty landmarks. Plus, they get a unique Digger military unit.
Unique unit: Cronulla Beach Rioter. +1 to attack strength when stacked with another identical unit. +1 to attack strength when built in a city with a radio station.
Unique building: Offshore Gulag. Costs 100 gold per turn with an overall negative net benefit on society. Doubles construction speed of Cronulla Beach Rioter.
fpot hahah man that is good! Part of the American lackey guild too, special diplomacy is getting b**** slapped by Donald Trump and then still saying we are great mates with an unbreakable bond.

There should be a policy option where you can have open borders, where you lose a percentage of income and causes unrest in the community.
Also, I don't care for the cartoony art style, makes me want to hit the developers over the head with a mech keyboard.
