Splatoon 2 for the Nintendo Switch in many ways looks and plays a lot like the Wii U original. And in case you were wondering, that's not a bad thing. Mainly because Splatoon represents Nintendo's take on the whole competitive shooter scene, and it's as accessible and fun as anything put out by the Big N since the days of the 16-bits. And in preparation for the sequel Nintendo will be holding an Open Beta of sorts for Splatoon 2 on the Nintendo Switch from March 25-26.

Available for a single weekend, play-times are relegated to hour-long blocks. AEDT times below.

Saturday March 25th:
06:00am – 06:59am
14:00pm – 14:59pm
22:00pm – 22:59pm

Sunday March 26th:
06:00am – 06:59am
14:00pm – 14:59pm
22:00pm – 22:59pm
