You might recall Deus Ex: Breach as the game within the game that came as part of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. In it players took on the role of a hacker in a virtual environment where they completed missions and challenges in a time trial meets challenge mode setup. It was an interesting and fun diversion to the main campaign, if a little flawed. And as it was also built around a booster pack and micro-transaction structure, its re-release as a free standalone game makes a lot of sense.

On the other hand Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - VR Experience (for HTC Vive and OCulus Rift), also free, is essentially one of those VR demos that lets you explore or take in a specific environments. Where in this case those environments are Dubai, Golem City, and Adam Jensen’s apartment. As seen in the hit game Deus Ex: Mankind Divided! Yeah, it's free so we probably shouldn't expect too much. But, here's hoping you get to watch Adam Jensen take a shower in VR. Because hey, that was an extended sequence in the early parts of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided -- where you basically watched him shower for 20 seconds.

Anyway, both titles are free to play via Steam -- Deus Ex: Breach and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - VR Experience.
