Until January 30 Microsoft are offering up a new Halo Wars 2 multiplayer beta, this time focusing on a mode called Blitz that aims to "card-based strategy with explosive combat." In real world terms that means armies are deployed around specific cards in a player's deck that eliminates the usual preparation phase one normally associates with RTS combat.

The demo is available now for both Xbox One and Windows 10.
