You may recall the name Gigantic, it was showcased by Microsoft a few E3's ago, where the cross-platform play between Windows 10 and Xbox One was touted as one of the features. In addition to wonderful art and animation. Well, after a few years of development trouble, and a change in publishers to Perfect World Entertainment, Gigantic is finally ready to make its debut in the form of an Open Beta -- available now for Windows 10 and Xbox One.

And it's safe to say that the game still looks pretty impressive, with wonderful character detail, art, and animation. So, we guess the question now is how well does it play.

Head on over to the official site for access to the Open Beta and more details on Gigantic and the special Founders Pack that will provide access to all heroes and other goodies when the game launches.

This is really interesting.... it's a cross between FPS and MOBA games. it looks to have the same layout as say DOTA but then you can go into a very weird playing style.

Sounds cool!

Sorry AusGamers but Aussies are region locked out on Windows 10.
Says so in their own forums.

Yep I went looking for it. You have to change your region to get access on Xbone. Not sure about Win10

I'd probably try it but Windows 10 only is stupid

It has to do with crossplay and the Windows 10 common core (and maybe dx12).

Its not stupid, though you may of course disagree with their decision not to support more legacy Windows versions with a port or something.

Well it's stupid the same way DirectX limitations between Windows versions was stupid - a cheap trick to force you to upgrade. Maybe "really f*****g irritating" is more accurate.
