And, it features more creepy and weird baby stuff. Plus, Hannibal and the director of Pacific Rim. The new clip seems to be a little more coherent than the first teaser, only because we get to see fighter planes and soldiers. Two things that we tend to see a lot of in games. As for the rest of it, it's an evocative and impressive real-time 'thing' running on a PlayStation 4 Pro. It certainly looks cool, even if we have no idea what's going on.

The presentation followed Hideo Kojima getting a special award, basically for being Hideo Kojima -- i.e. an all-round videogame genius.

Check it out.

What's with the live action actors? Is this a Kojima thing or is it new? Will the charactors actually be voiced/acted by mads and del toro?

What is this about!?

No Del Toro does not act, only his scanned image was used, apparently he is a big fan of Hideo Kojima and has always wanted to collaborate, not sure about any voice acting from the other humans involved though. Anyway over here there is a reasonable explanation and guestimation of what's going on, referencing both trailers and similarities between characters etc.. and previous hints from other titles? It certainly looks like a mind *uck that's for sure. The highly sci fi alien look combined with soldiers from mixed periods in history certainly suggest some type of quantum /time travel/ limbo/Matrix/maybe stuff happening. I guess we won't really know till we play it! :)

Yeah, there was a panel at that PSX conference last weekend with Kojima talking about it, they just scanned Del Toro to use his likeness in the game but it will be a different actor doing the mocap and voice work for his character. Mads Mikkelson and Norman Reedus though are both fully in the game, likeness and voice work and acting. Norman Reedus is the main protoganist of the game, hes the character the player will play, and Mads Mikkelson is one of the main bad guys.
