And it looks like a pretty standard "running around a space station shooter", which we guess is a good thing. Certainly, people won't be spending the majority of their time with Star Citizen playing standard competitive FPS capture point modes, so this is probably more of a showcase to lets us know that in addition to the space flyin', dog fightin', planetary landin', and following the rules and docking guidelines of landing a Class M568 Cargo Freighter onto an M-Class Space Station, there will also be some shootin'.
Star Marine is due to arrive with December's 2.6 Alpha Update for Star Citizen.
I quite like the look of the speed. So glad it's not another thousand mile an hour shooter. They are definitely playing on controllers though which makes it look terribly consoly. The characters look great and the weapon movements were pretty gorgeous. My real question is why is there a capture the node type game in Star Citizen? I hope that's not part of the actual game and just a way for them to test the FPS combat model.
