Just when you were reconciling playing through Dishonored 2 as both Corvo and Emily comes word that the game will be getting a New Game Plus mode next month. As it will allow you to start over with all of your powers intact, the number of times one could conceivably play Dishonored 2 and not feel like they're simply repeating the same steps is pretty impressive.

In addition to New Game Plus the ability to customise the difficulty is also coming as part of the update. Although we don't have details as to what that would entail, having the ability to adjust things like enemy health, their alert level, and the damage they do, also sounds very cool.

"At Arkane we have this philosophy of Play Your Way," says Dishonored 2 Lead Designer Dinga Bakaba. "But it has to be real. We don’t want it to be just smoke and mirrors."

Indeed!
