And the U.K.! In the U.S. the Xbox One has just experienced it's fourth consecutive month as the top selling console in the region, thanks largely to the recent release of the Xbox One S and a string of great titles like Forza Horizon 3, Battlefield 1, and Gears of War 4. In Australia the situation is pretty much the same, but with the added bonus of Forza Horizon 3 taking place in our own backyard, it has propelled the racing title to become the best-selling Xbox One title of 2016.

This news marks a turnaround for the fortunes of the Xbox One, which since it's initial launch has lagged behind the PS4 in terms of sales. Many have pointed to the confusion in how the console was announced, and the inclusion of Kinect as something that gamers weren't all that interested in. With a re-positioning of the system as a gaming focused console, and one that offers up perhaps the most robust online experience thanks to Xbox Live, there's a renewed interest in the Xbox brand.

It'll be interesting to see what effect the recent PS4 Pro launch will have on sales figures. Plus, the eventual release of the Xbox One 4K Project Scorpio.

Doesn't hurt it is also one of the cheapest 4K UHD Blu-Ray players in the market with the added benefit of also being a gaming console....
