So as the first year in recorded history where there isn't a new Assassin's Creed game coming out, in its place comes the Assassin's Creed movie starring Michael Fassbender. Out this December, a new trailer has been released that delves into the story whilst giving us glimpses at some of the action. Plus, some running and jumping from rooftop to rooftop.

And, it looks pretty good. Now, there's no way to judge the quality of the film based on this trailer alone but it does feature a talented cast both in front of and behind the camera, with Australian director Justin Kurzel at the helm. It evens looks to be quite faithful to the source material with a story that leans as heavily into science fiction as it does historical conspiracies.

Check it out. Even with the poor choice of music.
