When Overwatch was released, I threw out the idea that whenever Blizzard takes on a established genre or idea they kind of make it their own. And in the process seem just-about 100% Blizzard Original. So it's no surprise that Hi-Rez Studios' hero shooter Paladins looks and feels a lot like Overwatch. Which itself looks and feels like a mixture of things. Paladins though is different enough. For one its free-to-play like the studios' other mega-hit SMITE, and it's available on Steam right now.

And in the latest Paladins update, a new champion Mal'Damba, has been introduced. A cool looking snake-wielding sorcerer thing. Check out Mal'Damba in action below.

A weapon that heals when you shoot it at an ally and does damage when you shoot it at an enemy, and ability that knocks down and stuns an enemy and takes them out of the fight, a heal grenade, and an ultimate that gives a damage amp to your team. So hes Ana?
