Although we don't know much about the game, the PC and mobile Space Odyssey is said to offer up an immersive Virtual Reality experience in addition to letting players take to the stars, explore the cosmos, colonise entire galaxies, and harvest them for materials. All built with an emphasis on educating its audience on space exploration and science.
So for all we know it could be the modern day version of an Edutainment CD-ROM from the '90s, albeit one that runs on PC, iOS, and Android. OR it could end being something more along the lines of Minecraft and Civilization.
Whether you chose to collaborate with the online community or play offline against the computer, you'll embark on missions designed to entertain, challenge and educate.
It certainly sounds interesting, and the VR side of the pitch sounds kind of cool.
