But thanks to the wonders of either time-differences based around the rotation of the earth or the more plausible flat-earth time conspiracy the Overwatch console Free-to-Play weekend doesn't begin until Saturday 4AM AEST. But hey, it'll be going through to Tuesday 9AM AEST so that's plenty of time to check out some Overwatch.

Because it provides access to all the game's heroes and modes and all the progress you make carries over if you decide to take the ol' plunge and join the rest of the world in loving all things Overwatch.

Confession time! After giving the game a somewhat glowing endorsement, I kind of stopped playing once Season One of Competitive Play kicked off. Not because I was over the game, it was more to do with other factors. But with the start of Season Two, and the new scoring system, tweaks, and balances, the Competitive Play of Overwatch is better than ever. And this has meant that for the past week of so, I've been putting in a lot of Overwatch time in. And loving it.

So if you plan on checking it out on Xbox One, feel free to hit me up for some action. Gamertag - Toadovsky.
