Remember when the internet was all abuzz with the rumour that Rockstar were going to announce the new Red Dead game at E3? Even though historically, the studio has never really used E3 as a platform to announce anything. Yeah, we remember. Also there was that whole deal with that map. Anyway, a Korean site called Gamefocus is reporting that a remastered version of Red Dead Redemption is in the works for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Yeah, we're suckers for anything Red Dead.

If true, awesome. And as the report states that the announcement will be coming this week, possibly at the big PlayStation event we won't have to wait too long to find out if this is true.

But then again, with the game only recently hitting Xbox One backwards compatibility, it would be a little bit strange for 2K and Rockstar to do that and then announce a remaster.

Rumours have a nasty habit of being just that, a rumour, but I really hope this one is true.

HD remaster sounds pretty good. It's about time Rockstar got their finger out of their arse and gave us RDR.
