Well, more like a release window. November to be exact. The word 'date' just sounds better in a headline, so we went with that. Now, as for the title it won't be called Season 3 or Season Three or even Season Tres. Nope, it'll be called The Walking Dead: A Telltale Series - A New Frontier. Probably to not scare away any potential new players. Because after all they've got a never ending supply of zombies to do that.

Following the reveal from earlier this year, the next season of Telltale's The Walking Dead picks up the story a few years after we last checked in and finds series protagonist Clementine now a teenager, still on the road. A New Frontier is said to also introduce a number of new characters, including playable newcomer Javier. It will also be running on the latest version of the Telltale engine, as featured in the recent Batman debut.

So yeah, Episode One of the highly anticipated third season is set to drop in November. Here's the teaser from a few months back.
