Last week Blizzard announced a global competitive Overwatch event that's naturally been dubbed the Overwatch World Cup. Where players from all around the world will go head to head for the chance to take part in the finals at BlizzCon. Voting for who will get to represent Australia (or any other country for that matter) is now live, with the final six-player roster to be revealed on August 30.

If you’ve answered the call from Overwatch and you’re ready to log in to your Battle.net account and vote, you can help shape your national team with a few clicks. Your Battle.net account’s region and country will determine the national team you’ll be nominating.

As an eligible voter, you can check the list of ranked players and their character preferences before selecting a total of four players you would like to represent your country in the Overwatch World Cup.

As of writing it seems that there might be an issue with the voting system, so we'll be checking back in on www.playoverwatch.com/worldcup throughout the weekend.
