15 million players, 15 million. Even saying it out loud it's hard to imagine that many people. But yeah, hot on the heels of the Overwatch Summer Games that kicked off earlier this week just in time for Rio, comes word that the total player base for Blizzard's hit shooter has reached even new heights. And beginning next Friday players from around the world will be able to vote for Overwatch players to represent their country in the upcoming Overwatch World Cup.

With with 16 teams battling it out at BlizzCon in November for fame and glory. The event will run up to the showdown at BlizzCon, with teams taking part in exhibition placement matches throughout the world. For more details, head on over to the official site.
