Since relaunching as a free-to-play title Evolve's community has grown to over 2 million players worldwide. And to capitalise on that renewed interest developer Turtle Rock is kicking off a month long set of updates they're calling Shear Madness. Because it'll include everything from new characters, maps, and even a new co-op mode.
Kicking things off is the newest Medic added to the Hunter team’s roster, Quantum Caira. Who has area of effect style healing abilities.
As per the relaunch all new characters are obtained via Silver Keys, but thankfully the latest update adds a "try before you buy" option that unlocks everything and everyone to test out in the Training Mode.
No word yet on what the new co-op mode will be, but be sure to check out the official blog for details on the ongoing event.
