The thing about zombies is that they're a particularly hard bunch to get rid of, what with the rising form the dead and all. With a listing of PS4 trophies for the original Dead Rising popping up on Exophase, many were left wondering if this was the first sign of an impending remastered re-release. Turns out that it is, with both the original Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2 headed to PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in the future.

At this stage it only looks like PC will be getting the remaster of the first Dead Rising, with Capcom confirming that Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record are both headed to PS4 and Xbox One.

As for the release date, it'll probably happen prior to December's Dead Rising 4, which is a time-exclusive release for Xbox One.
