Most of the news around social traps today is revolving around Pokemon GO, but we stumbled across an even more interesting piece of Pokemon news by way of the game being recreated in an equally recreated Game Boy Advance in Minecraft. This shit is seriously crazy.
I'm not even going to pretend to know a lot about Minecraft -- I tried it way back when it was in alpha, didn't care for it and gave up, but some people out there have spent thousands upon thousands of hours recreating things in the digital, blocky space. From the Starship Enterprise to functioning computers, the Minecraft creative world is one that's both awesome and terrifying at once, and now someone has created a videogame within the game, on a handheld they also made in the game. It's batshit crazy, but YouyTube user Requag has posted a video showcasing his meta work, which he used 1.10 Structure Blocks to achieve his goal. Check out the video embedded below.
I am not sure how it works. Is it actually running a Pokemon ROM or is it something in minecraft that has patterns of coloured blocks to make it look like Pokemon?
