Usually the words live-action don't go down well with games, thanks to a long history of crummy films in addition to forgettable trailers. The Mechanical Apartheid, a new trailer/short-film created in anticipation for the release of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided thankfully doesn't fall into either category. Instead it plays out like a trailer for a pretty awesome looking sci-fi film that doesn't exist.

Check it out.

As impressive as it is here's hoping that all those glimpses of scenes and locations and great action beats lead up to an actual much longer version.

Deus Ex: Mankind divided it out August 23.
