The latest expansion for Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft has been released, adding 134 new cards to the game. Called Whispers of the Old Gods, the new cards are themed around the legendary Old Gods of the Warcraft universe and more than a few will prominently feature ancient tentacle beast-things. Which is nice. Plus, anyone who logs into Hearthstone will get three Whispers of the Old Gods card packs for free. For a limited time of course.

"Whispers of the Old Gods adds an exciting new set of creepy, corrupted cards to Hearthstone," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. "We can’t wait to see how creative players are with the ancient evil of the Old Gods in their hands."

Whispers of the Old Gods like Hearthstone itself is available on basically every device that isn't a console. That being Windows and Mac PCs, iOS and Android tablets. So yeah, everything.

Hearthstone is a free-to-play title where card packs can be purchased via in-game or real-world currency.
