What's better than playing the Overwatch Beta on PC? Well, that would be getting to play Overwatch with a controller in hand, kicking back on a couch, on a big screen TV. At Blizzard no less. It's no mystery that Overwatch is headed to both PC and console, and on a recent trip Blizzard's Irvine-based HQ Adam Mathew went hands-on with the console version for the first time and spoke to the game's Director, Jeff Kaplan about all things Overwatch.
Clearly the world of Overwatch itself is extremely important to Blizzard. You need only look into the time and effort the studio invested into the worlds of StarCraft, Diablo, and Warcraft, to see how near and dear these established universes are to its creators. Just like those evergreen titles, Blizzard is fully expecting this new intellectual property to be alive and well in 20 years’ time, too. “It's very important to us that we don't create a one-off setting,” Kaplan tells me.

Playing the full game on PC?
It's a shooter, console and "better" don't register in my world.
