Setting aside the fact that whenever you hear the phrase Vampire Counts you think of the Count Dracula Muppet from Sesame Street that literally just counts, you quickly realise that they're also one of the races in the Warhammer universe. Yep, right alongside the Greenskins and Dwarfs and evil Chaos Demon things sits a race of Vampire Counts. And they'll be a playable race in the upcoming Total War: WARHAMMER.

In the latest developer video we get a closer look at the Vampire Counts campaign, and get to see some of their powerful abilities and units in action. Well, on the campaign map at least.



Total War: WARHAMMER is out May 24.

Initially I wasn't sold on this game, but the more I've seen and read, the more excited for it I am. I also hope it lives up to expectations. I was disappointed with Rome 2; I don't want to be disappointed with this as well.

I wasn't too sure about this when it was first announced but I am sort of interested now. Need to see the next few videos of this campaign though.

I've been looking at a lot of the game play videos that have been released, and it's looking awesome. I went down to EB today and fully paid off my copy of the game. Still pissed Australia can't get the collectors editions though.
