Exactly what's going on in a Dark Souls game story-wise is anyone's guess, but The Witches, from director Eli Roth certainly captures the darkness. And the sudden, visceral violence. Coming from the director of Hostel and a string of other horror films this animated short is definitely more Ninja Scroll than Ninja Turtles. So, fair warning.

This collaboration between Bandai Namco, animation studio Six Point Harness and Eli Roth is only two minutes long but it has a great art style.

Dark Souls III is out April 12 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
