Night Dive Studios, the kings of remastering and getting old games to work on modern PCs (in addition to working on the System Shock remake) are now shifting their attention to consoles with the release of the first two Turok games for Xbox One. The remaster of the first Turok is already available on PC and Mac, with the sequel, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil getting the same treatment. This announcement which was made via a tweet, confirms the studio's plans to bring the original Dinosuar Hunter back to consoles.

Which means we don't have release date, but hey, Turok's back! And he's exactly the same. Sort of. These releases will be faithful to the original versions, with minor improvements made along the way. Like support for higher resolutions, and the odd touch up here and there. Here's the trailer for the remake of the original Turok: Dinosaur Hunter which showcases the faithful work done in recapturing the feel of mid to late '90s full-3D shooting. Fog and all.

I will probably ignore the first one unless that fog has been fixed, but will definitely play the sequel. Cerebral Bore, baby!
