The remastered version of one of the funniest LucasArts adventure games from the '90s, Day of the Tentacle, now has a release date -- March 22. Out for PC, PS4, and Vita, this remaster will allow players to switch between the classic and very low-res pixely graphics of the 1993 original and the shiny new widescreen pixel-free HD art of the remaster. Pre-orders for the PC version are also up now on GOG.com.

Which comes with a 10% discount, a bunch of wallpapers, and of course is DRM-free.

Originally released by LucasArts in 1993 as a sequel to Ron Gilbert’s ground breaking Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle is a mind-bending, time travel, cartoon puzzle adventure game in which three unlikely friends work together to prevent an evil mutated purple tentacle from taking over the world!

Now, over twenty years later, Day of the Tentacle is back in a remastered edition that features all new hand-drawn, high resolution artwork, with remastered audio, music and sound effects (which the original 90s marketing blurb described as ‘zany!’)

i loved this game in 1993 and will be getting it as it is one of the funniest games ever just hope i can remember how to play it.
