With a release date in May we're probably going to start seeing a lot more footage from Mirror's Edge Catalyst, the sequel to the 2008 first-person parkour game from EA and DICE. Today we get two new trailers, one focused on movement and the other on combat. It's safe to say that the game looks like it will more than live up to its predecessor, as it captures the same minimalist, fluid, yet futuristic feel.

First up, the 'Movement' video, which thankfully is set to the same sort of brilliant ambient electronica that was heard in the original. Naturally there's a lot of free-form running and jumping and climbing, which looks fantastic. At this point it's hard to tell if the perspective shifts from first-person to cinematic third-person are part of the game, or simply cut-scene embellishments.

Next up the tempo of both the action and music is taken up a notch in the new 'Combat' video, which goes to great length to showcase protagonist Faith's new arsenal of non-projectile take-downs. It's all very martial arts like, and very cool to watch.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst is out May 26.
