Ahead of the launch in a few weeks Ubisoft will be conducting an open beta for The Division across all platforms running from February 19 to 21. Content is expected to be pretty much the same as what was seen in the closed beta, but with an additional story mission to tackle. If you're still undecided as to whether or not The Division is worth a look then the beta is great way to find out exactly what sort of game it is.
A game, as it turns out, with a lot of potential to be great. Something which the new 'factions' trailer demonstrates. Here's hoping that at some point you can take on missions for particular factions, and that the RPG nature of the world extends to who gets to be in charge.
Probably not though, seeing as the focus seems to be on building up The Division. But, it's good to find out who's roaming the streets of Manhattan.
To access the beta please use the following guide:
XBOX ONE: Go to Games and search for Tom Clancy's The Division Open Beta
PS4: Go to the Playstation Store and search for Tom Clancy's The Division Open Beta
UPLAY PC: Launch Uplay PC, the Division Open Beta will be in your Free Games list
